Not long ago, it was maliciously whispered in London that the sad truth was that Prince Charles wasn't very bright, and that his brothers and sister were like wise unpre-processing. It seems nearer the truth to say that the public knew little of the royal children.

The rearing of royalty has long posed almost insoluble dilemmas. How can any crown prince have a normal boyhood when he grows up among geneflections and knows - how badly he misbehaves - that he wil become king?

I was going to ask you if a person should have it was all right to have the electricity the way it is or if it should be changed? in the meter?

And then I was going to say I think the neighborhood has improved some in the last few years. I hope my brother can will come to Omaha before long so he can talk it over about this property.

A person has 6 months notice after a house is sold haven't they? My brother and I must agree about selling this property - then there won't be any need for regreting selling

One lady was interview over the radio and she had written a book. This lady had lived in Australia. She said she didn't like the way children were brought up in America. She said she would like to return to Australia and raise her children.

Over radio - They are going to try to pass a law that a girl has to be 20 years olf before she can marry in India.

In addition to the envelopes of receipts and paperwork of Great-Grandmother Ruth's found throughout these boxes, tiny notebooks, newspaper clippings, and small notes pop up - little messages from her. Some are rather random and funny. Some are sad and make you pause.

They are her inner thoughts. They are the commentary for the day.

They are relevant. Irrelevant. Both.

Who are they written to? Herself?

I'd like to think they were written to us...70 years later.

They might be the most personal of all that is contained in these boxes. They represent the "notes to self", "don't forgets", and "interesting thoughts" that we all have strewn throughout our own lives, whether or not we write them down.

Ruth wrote them down.

No matter how much a person stares that won't pay any bills or get any work done.
