From Ilse

Wuppertal, the 20th March 1995

My dear Charlotte!

At first I must say you many Thanks for the wonderful calendar. We look for the pictures, we often remember the wonderful time in your house. For me is finished the touring season. First in February 1995 I have been again in the hospital. My home doctor sayd I must have a heart-pace maker, because a 24 hours EKG was not good. I have hart rhythm troubles. But the professor in the hospital says it is not necessary, and I am happy. The operation is with narcosis and would not be good for my heart. I get new medicaments and they are right. I read in your "red" letter that you must make much things in your home, we wish you all the best!!! Perhaps we can see you in Germany again with the Prheus Chorus?

In love your Ilse and Rainier, Heidi and Peter

Week of Postcards: Scotland

May 18 '95

Dear Lottie -

I know this may not reach you before you leave on your trip - but just a line to let you know we are truly enjoying our stay in Scotland. Countryside is beautiful. Ken is doing great driving on the wrong side of the road. Visited Edinburgh yesterday & St. Andrews (home of golf) the day before. Doubt if we'll be able to "catch" you in Europe. We'll be North, while you are in France. We'll be seeing Ilse & Mille plus Finland.

Week of Postcards: Heidelberg

May 16, 1991

Dear L -

We're having a wonderful time. We rented a car & have been exploring Germany on our own. Yesterday we went to Heidelberg & climbed the stairs to the castle. Now we are in Wuppental with Ilse & her family. Tomorrow we visit the Cathedral in Kolon. We've arranged for a short trip to Paris - then on to London. Thanks for making it possible. Love Betty & Ken

Week of Postcards: Aalborg

June 3/95

Dear Lottie -

It has been a long trip - left home over a month ago. We spent today in Aalborg - after a couple of days in Finland. Also spent 2 days with the Copenhagen relatives and another 2 days with Ilse. It's all been quite wonderful - Tomorrow we leave for Frankfurt & home.
