Consider Your Letter Included

Going through these boxes uncovers many things: some mundane, some funny, some important. And some, like this blue file folder speak for themselves. This file folder, with "Personal notes, etc. to write" penciled in at the top, was full of letters from people who loved my grandmother and made a point to tell her during the last months of her life. She kept your letters. She responded to your letters. She just didn't quite get to the last few.
