About the Basement
My mother's basement is affectionately known as "The Dead People's Room".
Tucked away in the corner are over a dozen boxes holding birth announcements, news clippings, 70 years of tax documents (not kidding...stay tuned for evidence), obligatory holiday photos, and letters. Lots and lots of letters.

Cable Trouble
Grandma Lottie always seemed to have cable trouble. This was probably because the grandchildren had a "special" link through the "special" cable box. Hmm...
