Dear Bob, Lottie and Family.

Received your letter and the package too. Thanks so much for it sure is nice. Lars puts it on his back every A.M. after he has the electric pad on his back some time as he has the hot water packs on his eyes. I told him if he had half dozen more thing a ma bobs to use he could have an excuse to stay in bed all day.

He wanted a ball point pen that don't skip so I went down to Ted's Pen Shop and got him a good one. And he wanted new Suspenders with snaps on and Jean is getting them for him so he's happy as a little kid with his xmas. Marie and Betty sent packages come today and his style we just had to open them. Marie sent him a flannel shirt and me nice match safe and some dates and there all so nice.

My nephew & wife sent him a flannel shirt and me a warm nightie so now he has two new flannel shirts to go with his old ones do him several years. These so nice Marie sent blue plaid and Mary sent brown plaid with a blue stripe in it both so pretty. And Mary sent me pink gloves.

But Betty sent the cushions for his back sure be nice when he drives for he uses cushions I made for him and two little ornaments I think children made them in school. These so cute for little ornaments. And me I got the sewer fixed I've been carrying the water from the kitchen to dunk in toilet sewer for a month and when you carry six or more buckets a day no fun took no about twenty minutes to fix it but I was so sick three weeks I didn't feel like going to basement to help him and he couldn't do it alone. All I done to help was stand there while he fixed it. I can use my cushion when we go for a drive down to Lincoln. Suppose we will go down after xmas if the weather stays nice. Be about last week we can make till spring.

We made good on our cards.

Paid ins on car and on the furniture too and house for three years and dozen little things it paid too so keeps us square with the world to start the new year and I've got enough hid away to pay taxes too and enough for his wheel tax and license so we can start new year char again and if we get the extra 2.00 each mo I can put away enough to have ready for car ins & taxes next year so if we can't sell cards we can still get by. But I was so tired when we finished with cards I was nearly sick then when I got that flu I just couldn't regain my strength I don't house work in a way but a darn poor way while I was sick.

Today Lars washed all the floors and waxed them for me. I made cranberry jelly and used dust mop all over house so we were both tired and so we took a nap like two little kids.

I must quit for I must write to Albert & Marie and Betty yet tonight. Albert & Lena sent money and Marie gave us each 2.00 so we fared good.

We sure love to get a letter from you but when you work these so many things to take care of at home not much time to write.
