Mind the Gaps

As you may have figured out, there's a theme to the type of items in these boxes. They make sense, really:

1. Childhood items/Photos from the Lottie & Robert Johnson's (my grandmother was the owner of these boxes)
2. Family Documents from Marie Durand's files (after she passed away my grandmother must have inherited them)
3. Ruth Jensen Letters to Marie (included in item type #2)
4. Family Letters/Documents/Photos from Ruth Jensen (probably sent to Lottie directly from Nebraska or via Arizona)
5. Box from Martin Jensen, yet unopened (see #4 for possible path to Seattle)

beyond the Jensens, I also have...
6.WW2 items from my grandfather Robert Johnson (will share along the way too, because, well...they are cool!)
7. Family Documents/Items from Jean Johnson, my grandfather's sister (will probably also share eventually, because, well...they are interesting too!)
8. A few other relatives that live up to the name of the room

This list, while extensive, still means there are holes.

Letters from one person to the other, alluding to letters that went the opposite direction but are not to be found. (Interesting that Ruth seemed to received numerous letters from Marie yet I have yet to find one, but Ruth seemed to save letters from Elin, Lottie, Betty, Martin, and other family members.)

Family items from one family branch, but not others.

Items abound from one set of years, sparse from others.

So please pardon the perceived biases. It is not intentional. And if you have items that can perhaps fill in the gaps, feel free to pass them along.
